About

Bryce Thompson is a fractional CTO who builds multi-sided platforms: review sites, marketplaces, UGC products, and the AI systems inside them. Fifteen years designing them at scale, now building them end to end as one operator rather than a team.

I spent a decade designing multi-sided platforms — three years at TrustRadius, a B2B software review platform, plus work on Atlassian Community, clinical systems at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and connected hardware at Nasoni.

The pattern in all of it is the same problem: several groups of people who each need something different from the same product, and a system of reputation, incentives, and trust that has to make it worth everyone's while to show up. That's the part most teams get wrong, and it's rarely a technology problem.

I now build these end to end rather than only designing them. Strategy, product, design, and engineering in one pass — one operator instead of a team, typically three to six months to production.

Bryce could always cut to the chase and find a great solution in record time. He always found the fastest path to execution, whether that was in-house, outsourced, or hands-on.
